There is a hack to life that can only be gotten when you turn your eyes upon Jesus. When you shut out the world and look to Him. Absolutely Trusting, absolutely dependent, absolutely invested, and totally given over to Him.

The world is noisy, with lights scattered everywhere. Everything is demanding your attention, and when you decide to focus, you realize that there is nothing worth your attention.
Turning to others for directions often results in situations that at best is equivalent to the blind leading the blind.

Innovation, social reform, technological advancement, an influx of social media, yet people are loneliest than ever in history.
We can’t find comfort in one another, trust has dwindled, addiction and dependence on substances have skyrocketed, job dissatisfaction among people working what they had always considered their dream jobs.

Suicide and self-harm are reported at an unprecedented level. Even among the wealthy. Breakdown of homes and marriages, to a level people, are opting out of marriages. In some cases even opening up their marriages. Yet, they are unsatisfied.
Daredevil adventures, thrill-seeking, adrenaline chasing, gaming, going into the virtual world and alternate realities, and cosplaying.

They often do not know they are searching, they only know that they are dissatisfied. Others know they are searching, but do not know what for.
And this is true across economic divides, across sexual orientations, nationality, religious and spiritual background.
When nothing seems to work, when the experts have exhausted their options, when it seems life can’t get lower, when you still feel empty while at the top of the world. There is still an option.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Take your eyes off the world and its many distractions, turn your eyes to Christ.
It might seem unreal, it might seem silly, it might seem crazy, but is there any harm in trying?
Haven’t you tried something more real, more tangible, more verifiable, more logical, and what do you have to show for it?

Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Find succour, find comfort, find refreshment that the world does not have and cannot give. Let him show you what you were created for, how you were meant to live, what you do not know about yourself.
He knew you before you were born. Before you knew yourself. And He knows the whole world because he created that too.

Let the distractions and noise of this world fade into the background, so you can focus on what truly matters. When you come back to face the world, you will be doing it with a piece of knowledge on your place in this world that no one else has.
