Surround yourself with people who would always see the good in even seemingly difficult situations.
I find this revelation so funny, yet enlightening, that I can’t even be upset with mummy for starting marriage talk with me this morning. This made a lot of sense.
The fact that you are old enough to be married, or have your own children is by the way. All a mother wants to do is keep you safe.
And if that requires taking a firm hold of your hand as you cross the street, road, or expressway, then so be it.
The inquisitive part of me can’t help but wonder, did the wives start calling their husbands Daddy, because he called her Mummy, or did the husbands start calling their wives Mummy because she started calling him Daddy?
Happy birthday, mummy. I pray you live long in health and wealth to celebrate more of this, and more with your children.
Looking back at that whole incident now, I can’t help but wonder, was Junior really “Junior”?
Do you know what I mean?
I know what I saw, but can I trust my childhood memories?
On a second thought, how many Junior are not really “Juniors”?
But then, ice cream is the smallest price to pay to see MB again. She is worth a thousand, even a million ice creams. I just can’t wait.
So my Dear Unborn Child, I want you to know that every rule has an exception and the weather sometimes is the rule and not the paper. If you ever want to be a learned man like me, then you must first seek “Patience”. This singular virtue can make or mar you.
