As much as we want to say judge not, there is always going to be morality, and there will always be a need to judge.
Just like a judge in a courtroom should never succumb to cowardice, so should you.
Indeed, there was a time when beauty truly lay in the eyes of the beholder. A time when men were open to judgement and did judge each other honestly.
Conviction is a spoken word drama, which aptly describes two extremes in modern Christianity. Sadly, both camps are hell-bent on ushering the other towards hell. Every conversation is an argument to be worn.
The same man who asks you not to judge him stealing company’s money would condemn you for sleeping with your neighbors daughter, while your female friend sees nothing wrong with gossiping but everything wrong with abortion.
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people,
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
