Love Yours – Josh Journal
“The essence of life manifests better when love is found.”
You can read that sentence, emphasize different words in it, interpret it in different ways, and you will be right every time.
Life, though difficult, is blissful when you find the right person to love and share it with. The pains are divided and the joys are multiplied.
Every hurtful moment is hurried away with a healing hand, and the pleasant moments are extended just by their presence and words.
Mountains seem surmountable and oceans are swimmable when the right one loves you right.
Serving as the winds beneath your wings, you feel fast enough to outrun a cheetah, strong enough to wrestle a lion, swift enough to outfly an eagle, and for some reasons beyond human comprehension, you are not scared to engage a whale in a swimming competition.
What God cannot do doesn’t exist. What someone in love cannot do is just behind that.
If “one shall chase a thousand, and two shall put ten thousand to flight,” what is the multiplying power?
“Wherever two of you are gathered in His name,” imagine when those two have the power of love between them.
The power of love is yet unquantifiable. Studied for decades, science still has more questions than answers.
When reciprocated it gives a high that I cannot describe. I have heard some people compare it to LSD. I don’t know how true that is though.
Unreturned though, it is one of the worst waste in life. The pain and anguish, I also cannot describe it.
The choice to love or not to love then arises. Knowing if your love is shared, there is still a possibility it could one day end, that is a fear that prevents some from acting on love.
Are heartbreaks a reminder that love in its purest form will always be imperfect on earth?
Some say it is better to have loved and lost, than not to have loved at all. With a couple of heartbreaks under my belt, I struggle to agree with them.
But when I remember the best moments shared, the feeling of I can rule the world if I will it, it makes it all worth it.
This is to love. May we find it. May the one we find it in, find it in us. And when it ends in heartbreak or death, may it all be worth it.
