It is the first day of August 2020 and once again, just like the first time I heard this song, and for the umpteenth time this year, this song by Stormzy is stuck in my head.

Every time this song gets stuck in my head, I am never in a hurry to get it out. I love this song way too much.

The year 2020 is one I would not forget in a hurry. Life has thrown up lots of curve-balls, but when I see what is going on around me, I realize that it could be a lot worse.

God’s grace has been constant in my life this year and I do not ever want to take it for granted. I am grateful for family, friends, colleagues, work, inspiration, and most importantly, the gift of life.

As we go on with this year, I pray for more of God’s grace upon myself and all of those I love, I pray for grace upon those around me and far away, I pray for grace upon you reading this. And I pray we all end this year with a testimony of how we’ve overcome.
